1. Agreement
This Seller Agreement is between Billion Peoples Technologies, a partnership firm, and the seller enrolling on Bazako.com. Acceptance may be electronic and should be recorded with timestamp/version.
2. Seller eligibility/KYC
Seller must provide legal/business name, address, PAN, bank details, contact details, applicable GST details/status, licences/registrations, beneficial/authorised-person information and category-specific documents requested by Bazako.com. Where GST registration is not legally mandatory for the seller/category, Bazako.com may apply state/category restrictions based on applicable tax law and its compliance configuration. GST status must never be misrepresented.
3. Product listing obligations
Accurate title, description, images, specifications, MRP/price, net quantity, country of origin where required, manufacturer/packer/importer details where required, warranty/guarantee information, expiry/best-before where applicable, safety warnings and statutory marks must be provided. Seller must not upload copied listings or third-party IP without rights.
4. Category compliance
Food: applicable FSSAI registration/licence and food-specific declarations. Packaged commodities: applicable Legal Metrology declarations. Covered products: BIS/QCO compliance where mandatory. Electrical/electronic/telecom products: applicable BIS, WPC/ETA, BEE, e-waste/battery and other requirements as applicable. Cosmetics, medical devices, toys, jewellery, automotive parts, chemicals and other regulated categories require the licences/standards applicable to that exact product.
5. Fulfilment
Seller must dispatch genuine, compliant goods within the promised handling time, use appropriate packaging, maintain traceability and provide accurate tracking information.
6. Returns/refunds
Seller must cooperate with returns, replacements, refunds, warranties and legally required remedies. Seller may not contractually defeat statutory consumer rights.
7. Prohibited conduct
Counterfeit goods, stolen goods, illegal products, unsafe products, false claims, fake reviews, price manipulation, misleading discounts, trademark infringement, unauthorised regulated products and any other prohibited product/conduct are forbidden.
8. Audit and records
Bazako.com may request invoices, source documents, licences, test reports, authorisations, batch/lot information or other records
reasonably required for compliance, safety, IP or dispute resolution.
9. Indemnity
Seller indemnifies the firm to the maximum lawful extent for losses, claims, penalties, recalls, IP claims, consumer claims and regulatory action caused by seller breach, unlawful conduct, unsafe goods, counterfeit goods, false declarations or non-compliance.
10. Suspension/termination
Bazako.com may restrict, delist, hold settlements or suspend a seller where reasonably necessary for fraud, safety, legal, IP, consumer-protection or material contractual reasons, subject to applicable law and any required notice/process.
11. Compliance basis
Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as applicable. Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and applicable Packaged Commodities Rules. Food Safety and Standards Act and applicable FSSAI regulations/guidance for food products. BIS Act and applicable compulsory certification / Quality Control Orders where a product is covered. Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable IT Rules, including the 2026 amendments where applicable. Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, according to their phased commencement. CCPA guidelines/advisories on dark patterns, misleading advertisements/endorsements and environmental claims, where applicable.
