3. Seller duty
Seller must verify legality before listing and maintain licences, certificates, invoices and traceability documents. Bazako.com may require documentary proof before activation or during audit.
4. Listing claims
Medical, health, environmental, performance, certification, 'organic', 'natural', 'eco-friendly', 'Made in India', 'imported' and similar claims must be truthful, substantiated and legally permissible.
5. Enforcement
Bazako.com may reject, delist, block, suspend, hold or remove listings and accounts where required for safety, law, IP, consumer protection or fraud prevention. Serious matters may be referred to competent authorities.
6. Recall/safety
If a product is suspected unsafe or unlawfully sold, Bazako.com may stop sales, identify affected orders, notify relevant parties and coordinate recall/refund/replacement steps.
7. Compliance basis
Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as applicable. Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and applicable Packaged Commodities Rules. Food Safety and Standards Act and applicable FSSAI regulations/guidance for food products. BIS Act and applicable compulsory certification / Quality Control Orders where a product is covered. Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable IT Rules, including the 2026 amendments where applicable. Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, according to their phased commencement. CCPA guidelines/advisories on dark patterns, misleading advertisements/endorsements and environmental claims, where applicable.
